MK - The Traveller within me!
How it all started?
“Unraveling stories through travel.” I heard that once, and it was like a spark—YES! That’s what I’m meant to do.
I’m Muskan (MK), a Lawyer by title but a photographer at heart and an explorer by destiny. Imagine life as this massive puzzle, with each country, each city, and each tucked-away town holding a piece. And I’m on a mission to find every one of them.
Wait, what? Yeah, I know, a law internship is the last place you’d expect a travel obsession to be born. But four years ago, I got this gig at NLSIU in Bangalore. I was pumped—my first solo flight, my first real taste of freedom, and it felt like stepping through some hidden door to another world. In that one month, I lived more than I ever had. I saw the ocean for the very first time, feeling the waves at a beach I’d only ever seen in movies.
I took a solo trip to Coorg and got lost in the jungle (terrifying and amazing, by the way). I braved the scorching 50 degrees in Pondicherry, because who needs a break when there’s so much freedom to chase?
Mysore had me wandering like I was following some invisible trail of history and magic.
And Ooty? My first real friends’ trip, where the hilltops felt like a piece of heaven, was handed over just for us. That month unlocked something. I wasn’t just traveling; I was piecing together my story. Every journey since has been about chasing that freedom, finding hidden gems, and connecting every bit of this big, wild, beautiful puzzle we call Earth.

Was it easy?
Honestly, it was anything but easy. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that making things look easy today means pushing through a lot of hard stuff yesterday. And that’s true for everyone. The difference? Only a few people choose to grow through it and take control of their own story.
For me, it all started with finding ways to combine my dreams with reality. I used legal internships as an excuse to travel to different states across India because why not explore while working? I picked up freelance gigs during college, not just to earn money but to fund my love for travel. I volunteered at homestays, exchanged work for a chance to experience new places, and slowly, the pieces started coming together.
Then came the camera. I didn’t start as a pro. I just wanted to capture what I saw, felt, and experienced. Those random travel clicks eventually turned into a passion for travel photography.
And Instagram? That became my diary, a space to share stories, connect with like-minded people, and inspire others who dreamt of the same things. Today, I’m doing what I once thought was impossible. I’ve created my own little space in the digital media world.
I’m collaborating with brands, sharing travel stories, and exploring places I used to only imagine visiting. It may not be perfect, but it’s mine. Looking back, the hustle was worth it. It taught me that you don’t just stumble upon your dream life. You build it step by step. So here I am, still learning, growing, and still traveling. This journey is everything I hoped it would be, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
